Goring Hall, Best of all?
8 Oct, 2020
Goring-by-Sea has long been a sought after location – ideally placed on the coast with good transport links and stunning countryside to the north.
The favoured ‘BN12’ postcode offers a huge variety of property that suits buyers of all kinds. There are long streets of bungalows which were once the preserve of the happily retired but now also suit younger buyers who extend upwards and backwards to make bright family homes, seafront flats that suit those looking for an easier life and a great view as well as some of the largest and most imposing houses in the Worthing area.
The greensward that runs along the coast has increasingly become a magnet on warm summer days for recreation, barbeques and family gatherings but is an all year round resource for those seeking fresh air, exercise or a beautiful area to walk the dog.
There are a number of popular schools to hand, Goring CofE and West Park as well as a selection of pre-schools such as Marriotts Nursery in Goring Road.
As in many areas, a number of micro-pubs have opened but perhaps the best know pub and restaurant locally is The Bulls Head, which dates back to the 16th Century.
Main roads connect Goring Hall to Worthing itself as well as the faster routes to Brighton, Chichester and beyond. Goring by Sea station is just a few minutes’ walk away.
If you’re convinced of the benefits of the wonderful Goring Hall, where do you begin to look for property?
Well, who better to ask than Robert Luff himself?
Rob says;
“I love the open space of the greensward, so for me, Marine Drive would be a favourite. There are lots of great apartments to be had along the Drive, and also some stunning detached houses which all have a great view of the green and sea beyond. A slightly more central location is the ‘Nutley’ area Nutley Cresent, Drive and Close. There are great family houses here and of course they are a little nearer to shops and schools so brilliant for families.”
And where is best for a bungalow?
“There are many dotted all over Goring Hall, but Goring Way has lots of them and again is a nice central location and is close to shops in Ferring Village.”
