Hundreds of Santa's Elves Visit the Seaside for Charity

Santa’s Little Helpers are due to down tools this December to congregate in Worthing, West Sussex in an attempt to smash the Guinness World Record for such a gathering. It was in Camarthenshire in 2012, that 762 of the industrious, if vertically challenged employees of Santa arrived to set the record and it is hoped this year that more than a thousand will descend on the genteel seaside town.

It is not thought that this event will have any major impact on Christmas toy making.

We have high hopes for the event, taking place on 7th December. He hopes to raise thousands of pounds for two Worthing based charities,St Barnabas Hospice and Chestnut Tree Children’s Centre.

Says Rob, “This should be great fun and will raise lots of much needed cash for two incredible charities. We know these are tough times so we have made this a free event.

Robert Luff and Co and House Buy Fast, another local property firm have donated the Elf hats and ears to give out for free but people must register first.”

“All are welcome although to qualify for a World Record attendees must wear red or green tops. Yule be sorry if you miss it,” laughs Robert.

The event takes place at 12 noon on 7th December in Steyne Gardens, Worthing and will be officially logged with Guinness World Records.
